For the Record Preproduction


Hi! I'm Tzuching from Out of Tunes studio and I'm going to talk about our preproduction for this game project.

We have started our project in January and edited the very first version of the Game Design Document. During the discussion and the edition process, we have made our idea of the core mechanic - Record Player to be completed gradually. With our main character added inside, we also came up with the background story and designed how the interaction will be going in the gameplay. Moreover,

Now Working

As for now in April, we are working on the Technical Design Document and Level Design Document to dig more details about the gameplay moment. Any small details being discussed and set in the right place help us get to know about what we are going to do and how we are going to implement it better when starting to build our game. Therefore, we set up the hacknplan and discussed the tasks as well as some backlogs inside. Seeing more things or ideas being listed and arranged gives us a well-prepared situation to make the work smoother in the summer. So, it might be the most important thing during the preproduction. 

Upcoming Summer

In May, we will start our project in Unity and bring our ideas into the world eventually! Also, we'll have our artist join our team to work on this game together. The final game build will happen near the end of July or August this year, and hope everything goes well in the project!
